Subscription policy
The Home Companion Box is planned as a monthly US subscription. No subscription is active while checkout is disabled.
Effective July 26, 2026
Clear terms before enrollment
Before checkout opens, the product and checkout pages will display the price in USD, billing frequency, delivery frequency, included products, renewal behavior, minimum commitment if any, and cancellation method.
A customer will be enrolled only after reviewing those terms and affirmatively completing Shopify checkout.
No silent enrollment
Browsing the site, allowing analytics, or opening the Coming soon checkout page cannot start a subscription or create a charge.
The site will not use a preselected paid option or hide recurring terms behind a one-time price.
Changes and cancellation
The final policy will state the self-service cancellation path, change cutoff, skipped-delivery rules, price-change notice, and refund treatment before the first paid enrollment.
